If you’re living with the effects of trauma — whether it’s from early life experiences, ongoing stress, or a single overwhelming event — know that healing is possible. My trauma support sessions offer a safe, grounded space to gently explore and process what has been held in the body, mind, and nervous system.

Using a combination of somatic practices and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, we work together to help you reconnect with your inner world, reduce symptoms, and begin to feel more whole, empowered, and at peace.


What is trauma?

Trauma isn’t just what happened to you — it’s also how your body and nervous system responded in order to survive. This can leave lasting effects like anxiety, emotional numbness, overwhelm, chronic tension, dissociation, or difficulty trusting yourself and others.

Unresolved trauma can show up in subtle ways, but with the right support, it can be safely processed, integrated, and healed.


How I support trauma healing

My trauma counselling sessions are tailored to your unique experience and may include:

  • Somatic (body-based) practices to regulate the nervous system and restore safety

  • IFS-informed approaches to connect with and care for different “parts” of yourself

  • Psychoeducation to help you understand how trauma affects the brain and body

  • Gentle exploration of past experiences at your own pace

  • Tools to support emotional regulation, grounding, and self-trust

  • Integration work to bring healing into your everyday life

You don’t need to retell every detail of what happened — this is not about reliving your trauma, but about creating new internal experiences of safety, connection, and choice.

Q: Do you accept medicare mental health plans?

A: No I cannot accept these (although offer a discounted rate which is roughly the same as the out of pocket for most practitioners)

Q: How much do your sessions cost?

A: $160 per hour or $95 per hour for concession rates
